In my younger days, I wore specs due to Amblyopia. I recall that the specs I had were quite special, the right side was just normal glass and the left side had degree. After a couple weeks of wearing specs, I decided not to wear them anymore.

I started playing games and looking at distant objects using my left eye while closing my right eye. Eventually I cured my lazy eye and have perfect eyesight now.

True story :)
